There was a time in my life where I would go to the grocery store, see a cute guy, and wonder what our kids would look like.

There were times where I would casually walk by someone, and I’d wonder if they were falling in love with me. It felt like second nature to jump into thoughts of a life together before even figuring out his name.

Occasionally, those fleeting moments would turn into something more. I’m not shy when it comes to relationships; I’ll say what I want. …

You have a dream.

You have a dream to become someone, to achieve something, to create something. Maybe it’s all three, but either way, you have an idea in your head of what you want your life to look like and who you want to be eventually.

I know this because I have a dream. I dream of being a published author, having financial freedom, having a family, supporting my mother, moving to NYC, and living a life I’m proud of. Those are my dreams and aspirations.

For all of that to come to fruition, I’ve had to do a…

Have you ever wondered why it’s so easy for other people to be productive?Have you ever felt motivated to do certain things, only to have that drive dry out within a few days? Have you ever felt discouraged or frustrated when the people around you discuss their goals and how they’ve read 75 books and wrote 9 on top of maintaining a healthy body? Meanwhile, you’re still struggling with the third chapter of the book you’ve been trying to read for the last 2 months?

If you’ve answered yes to all of those, you’re in the right place. In an…

If you’re like the majority of people, the reason you’re not where you want to be is pretty simple.

You’re scared.

You’re scared you won’t be any good, you’re scared you won’t know how to do it, and most importantly, you’re scared you’re going to fail.

Think about the people who have the kind of lifestyle and career that you want and consider how they must have felt before chasing after their dreams.

They were also scared. They also wondered if they’d make it. They also thought they’d probably fail.

Those same people you look up to in awe and…

Over the last few months, I’ve been doing some reflecting on my goals and aspirations. I’m nowhere close to where I want to be.

I’ve managed to create an income I can live off of from my writing, my YouTube channel is growing, I’m learning a lot — but I’m not quite there yet.

I know I’m not the only person experiencing this. If you’re reading this, you’re probably feeling a bit stuck too. You have your goals in mind, you have the skillset, but you’re just not there yet.

With that being said, here are 5 reasons you’re not…

If you’re starting to feel like your love life is a cluster of negative experiences and barely ever getting dates in general, it might not be because of them.

It might be because of you.

Some people say, “it happens when you least expect it,” and while there is some truth to that, dating and relationship coach Deanna Cobden says love is something you need to actively pursue, and finding it can often be difficult.

“If you don’t look for a quality relationship, you won’t find it. You’ll end up with what falls into your lap or nothing at all.”

Establishing a healthy relationship is definitely easier said than done.

I used to believe having a healthy and happy relationship meant gifts, a lot of date nights, cuddles, and being overly annoying with cute kissing selfies #couplegoals, but in reality, it’s a little bit of that, and a whole lot more.

It’s the simple things that create a foundation for a healthy relationship. Such as establishing boundaries, expressing your needs and wants without judgment, loving one another selflessly, and always putting forth effort.

My boyfriend and I have been dating for three years now; our relationship is happier and stronger…

“I literally hate my body. I’m so fat. Why can’t I just get my shit together?”

This is the mindset I would have every morning. I’d verbally attack myself as I’d catch glimpses of myself in the mirror, mumbling curse words when I wouldn’t fit into jeans, and come up with excuses about how I was too busy to go out with friends when in reality, I felt insecure about the way I looked that day.

I’d go to the gym daily for hours. I’d eat egg whites for breakfast and thoughts of food and my body seeped into every…

When you sit down to work in the mornings, do you tend to check your phone first?

Do you find yourself watching YouTube videos or scrolling through TikTok in the middle of your workday?

Over the last few months, my focus has dwindled. I went from waking up at 5 in the morning to sleeping in, re-downloading TikTok, and indulging in way too much Instagram.

I used to take weeks off from social media regularly; now, I go on the app the second I wake up.

Writing, editing YouTube videos, uploading blog posts all used to come easily to me…

When you’re arguing with your partner, it’s usually because your needs aren’t being met. You feel disappointed in some way. They hurt your feelings, made you angry, let you down, etc.

Disagreements happen all the time; it’s natural to have them, especially when dating. The most important thing is how those disagreements are dealt with because that determines whether your relationship is healthy.

With that being said, here are a few tips that will help you handle your next argument in a healthy way.

Stay calm and respectful during any heated conversations.

I have a short fuse, and in past relationships, I would always allow my emotions to…
